Teaching Deep Healing Through Movement and Touch
“Movement is my medicine.” — Shoshi Hall
A Life Rooted in Movement
Shoshi Hall’s journey into healing began on the stage. As a professional dancer, she experienced both the beauty and the vulnerability of the human body. Years of rigorous training left her with persistent neck and lower back pain, discomfort that touched not only her body but her spirit as well.
Her path to true healing began when Glenn introduced her to BioSync® therapy. The transformation was profound: layers of physical tension and emotional weight started to dissolve, creating a sense of homecoming in her body. This experience sparked a deeper calling, to understand these methods fully and share them with others.
From Dance to Deep Healing
Shoshi’s early training in dance gave her an intimate understanding of posture, alignment, and movement patterns. These experiences, both empowering and challenging, shaped her philosophy: healing is not just about muscles, but about how the body moves, breathes, and carries energy.
She felt a soul-level calling to go deeper.
…. And she started pursuing formal study under Mark Lamm, earning certification in the BioSync® Method, and later continued her training with Glenn Hall, mastering the SomaFlow™ approach. This unique methodology blends structural bodywork, somatic awareness, and compassionate, intuitive guidance, offering a holistic path to alignment and freedom.
Creating SomaFlow
Together with Glenn, Shoshi co-founded SomaFlow™ Therapy, a system designed to support the whole person:
- Physical body (muscles, joints, fascia)
- Emotional body (stress, trauma, nervous system)
- Energetic body (Chi, breath, balance)
SomaFlow helps people release what’s stuck, move with ease, and reconnect with a sense of vitality and presence.
Teaching with Care and Clarity
At the SomaFlow Institute in Las Vegas, Shoshi trains therapists, movement professionals, and healers. She is known for her gentle, insightful, and highly practical teaching style. Student therapists learn to:
- Understand body mechanics and posture
- Use hands-on techniques safely and effectively
- Work with trauma in a compassionate, respectful way
- Maintain their own balance while caring for others
Her approach makes complex ideas feel simple, natural, and intuitive, so students leave feeling confident, supported, and deeply connected to the work.
A Mission of Whole-Body Healing
With over 40 years of experience, Shoshi’s life’s work is rooted in service. She guides others to move freely, release tension, and reclaim their bodies through deep listening, compassionate touch, and the innate intelligence of the human body.
Her own journey, from dancer to healer, remains at the heart of SomaFlow: a reminder that movement, awareness, and care can truly transform the body, mind, and spirit.
